A new multi-faceted venue, Spark Social San Jose, has opened in the Creekside District, located blocks from the SAP Center and Diridon Train Station. The site offers a mix of 11 permanent and visiting food trucks, a full-service bar, live entertainment, and a dedicated family space. This new location builds on the programming model of its San Francisco counterpart, which opened a decade ago. It is positioned as a destination for various outings, from casual meals before events to afternoon gatherings with friends or family.

The food selection at Spark Social San Jose includes a lineup of permanent trucks alongside a rotating roster of visiting vendors. Offerings range from stuffed arepas, award-winning aguachile, and Nashville-style chicken sliders to halal smash burgers and crispy dosa. For those seeking unique options, a blue grilled cheese and a waffle breakfast sandwich are also available. Guests are encouraged to sample from multiple trucks and share dishes to experience the variety.

For adult beverages, a full-service bar provides local brews from Fieldwork, Humble Sea, and Laughing Monk. The menu also includes a selection of wines and ciders. South Bay-inspired cocktails, such as the South Bay Breeze—a combination of Hideout vodka, raspberry liqueur, and pineapple—are available. Additionally, spiked jamaica and limón agua fresca are offered. The bar's batch-made cocktails are designed to ensure quick service.

Entertainment is a key feature, with a dedicated stage hosting live music, watch parties for 49ers games, and fitness events. Retro plastic beach chairs are set up in front of the stage for guests. Beyond scheduled performances, foosball tables and lawn games are spread throughout the property. Fire pits become popular gathering spots after sunset.

A significant draw for families is The Clubhouse, a dedicated zone designed for children and parents. This area features a playground, a large sandbox, a toddler sensory garden, a mud kitchen, and a nature play area. Kids can engage with mini playhouses and make music on a dedicated Bandwagon stage, while parents can relax in cabanas nearby. The venue plans to add kid-friendly entertainment and story times to its event schedule.

Adjacent to The Clubhouse is Creekside Greens, an 18-hole putt-putt course. This course allows for friendly competition and is integrated within the Spark Social San Jose footprint, making it easy for guests to combine a round of golf with food, drinks, or entertainment. Tee times for Creekside Greens can be booked online in advance.

Access to Spark Social San Jose does not require an entrance fee. General seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, though some cabanas and group spaces can be reserved for events. The venue permits leashed dogs on the property. Restroom trailers and port-a-potties are available on site. Most vendors accept card payments only, and outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Located at 140 South Montgomery Blvd., Spark Social San Jose is easily accessible. Parking options include a large lot across from the venue and metered parking on surrounding streets. Given its proximity to the SAP Center, guests are advised that parking may be challenging during arena events. Public transportation is a recommended alternative, as the venue is two blocks from the Diridon Station, providing access to Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, VTA, and BART services. Operating hours are 8am to 10pm Sundays through Thursdays, and 8am to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays, with individual food truck hours potentially varying.
